The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a spiritual formation journey for those seeking to become Catholic.  And it is happening every year in the 139 parishes of the Archdiocese of Washington!

In the RCIA you will learn about Catholic Christianity – who we are, what we believe, how we pray, how we live our lives as a community of believers.  But this spiritual journey is more than just faith formation – at its core the RCIA is a journey of conversion and relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  There is no obligation or commitment – if, at any time, you change your mind or simply feel now is not the right time, we respect your decision.
