Music Ministry Opportunities

Choir
If you enjoy singing and would enjoy the camaraderie of others who love music, please consider joining our parish choir.
Expertise is not a requirement, just a willingness to learn and attend rehearsals.
Please note—there is no audition needed to join the choir. We are in need of all singers, especially men! Teens who can attend rehearsals are welcome!
Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays, beginning September 2nd, from 7-8:30pm in the Church choir loft. (Please use the side entrance located near the Sacred Heart Statue.) The Choir provides music for Masses about every other week, either at the 8:30am or 11am Mass, as well as most special Holy Days.
(If you are unsure of your vocal range, please ask for an evaluation after rehearsal.)

We are in need of more Cantors!
Rehearsals Wednesdays, beginning September 2nd, 6:30 –7pm in the Church choir loft. (Please use the side entrance located near the Sacred Heart Statue.) You only need attend the rehearsal the Wednesday prior to your scheduled Sunday
Music @ Mass: Dependant upon the number of Cantors we have available—normally twice each month at the Mass of your preference.
The more cantors we have, the less your time requirement will be! Teens welcome!
Please note—New cantors will be required to go through additional training. All new cantors are subject to the approval of Msgr. Karl.

Children's Choir
All children of the parish, through 8th grade are invited to join our Children's Choir.
Practices are on the last two Sunday's of the month prior to singing at 12noon in the Church Choir Loft. We will sing at the Children's Liturgy to take place on the first Sunday of each month at the 11am Mass. Please note: our first Children's Liturgy of the year will take place on October 4, at the 11am Mass.
